Established in 2013, Southland Championship Wrestling is an independent pro wrestling organization that runs its shows out of the Chebanse Civic Center. In the past, it has also had shows at other local venues, such as Steam Hollow Brewery, Hidden Cove/Adventure Common, TNT Hitting Complex, Herscher Labor Day Festival, Kankakee High School, and most recently, The Majestic venue in downtown Kankakee.

SCW has been dedicated to helping our community and local organizations by collecting donations, toys, personal care products, non-perishable food items, and clothing. SCW has also spread awareness to multiple organizations, including Childhood Cancer, Special Olympics, MS, Hunters Syndrome, Homelessness, Recovery Programs, and Special Needs.
